Gynaecological Malignancies

Can my tumor be
treated - and how?

In many cases of gynecological

tumors,  prompt surgical removal

is the treatment of choice.

Gynecological oncology is a central part of gynecology and includes the treatment of malignant tumors of the ovaries, fallopian tubes and the uterus. The basis for treatment is a thorough clinical and ultrasonographic examination. If necessary, additional modern imaging methods such as computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance tomography, (MRT) which are located in our center (Urania Diagnosis Clinic) will be performed. The test results form the basis for an individually tailored treatment plan, which often may start with surgery. The close interdisciplinary cooperation with other disciplines via so-called tumor boards include chemotherapeutic, hormonal, radiotherapy and immunotherapy procedures which are in accordance with international guidelines and recommendations. Cancer can be treated.
