Female infertility can be caused by closure of one or both fallopian tubes, the presence of endometriosis, fibroids, or genital malformations such as a uterine septum. The reconstruction of fallopian tubes, the organ-preserving removal of deeply infiltrating endometriosis or the resection of troublesome myomas or septa can significantly increase the chance of a pregnancy. Thus, a large number of patients can be helped not only efficiently but also gently via minimally invasive surgical techniques with an additional optimal cosmetic outcome. Reproductive surgery to improve fertility is the focus of my everyday clinical work.
